Breathtaking 1961 Plymouth Fury Convertible finished in Robin Egg Blue and in pristine condition like it just left the factory floor.

History:

The original owner was from West Virginia and bought the vehicle new from a dealership in the costal region of the Carolinas.

It was eventually sold by the original owner in the 90s to a dealer in Lubbock, Texas which is where the second owner purchased it with a total of 38k miles on it. A full restoration was completed in June 2000 by R&R Restorations in Longview, Texas. The 318 was removed and inspected where it was freshened it up, i.e., rings, bearings, valve job was performed before being cosmetically restored and reinstalled. Drivetrain was inspected and determined to be in good shape, thus required only a minimal overhaul and cosmetic work.

The son of the second owner now owns the vehicle where it is kept in a climate controlled storage facility. A new motor for the convertible top was installed about a year and a half ago. Vehicle was featured in the November 2004 edition of Car Collector magazine (as seen in the pictures).
